Valeria worked in the Team as Lead Architect and was responsible for the overall coordination, collecting and establishing the content of the Tender Forms and controlling the progress of the Tender Program. Furthermore Valeria prepared various meetings as well as the weekly Tender Progress Meetings. The Tender was one of the largest and technically most complicated Tenders I prepared during my 43 years of experience. Valeria’s performance was exemplary and distinguished by consistently investing extra efforts to achieve the required deadlines set by the Tender Program. In particular the Tender success largely benefitted from her communication and managerial skills to lead and venture the very different cultural diversities of the JV Members being from the Far East, Middle East and Europe. The very good command of the English language, particular in the technical and commercial fields combined with her excellent computer skills in power point, Photoshop, etc. was the bases to produce a uniform Tender document based on submissions from the different trades, suppliers and potential subcontractors. In particular during the final compilation, printing and binding of the master copy of the extensive Tender documents Valeria worked tireless to complete everything on time. Furthermore Valeria compiled with great effort and success 228 power point slides for the JV Presentation requested by the Client to present the JV Project Director and his Senior Managers together with the methodology as to how the JV intends to perform the works, including the major alternatives in terms of technical and commercial particulars.
